HTX Helicopters offers flight training programs for aspiring pilots. Our flight school provides training and education for individuals who want to become certified helicopter pilots, including basic flight training, advanced courses for commercial pilots, and specialized programs for specific industries. HTX Helicopters is committed to safety and quality, and their flight school offers hands-on experience in the cockpit, high-quality training aircraft and equipment, and experienced instructors.
In addition to their flight training programs, HTX Helicopters also offers tours and charters for individuals and groups. These tours provide a unique and exciting way to explore scenic areas and landmarks from the air, including city skylines, natural landscapes, and popular tourist destinations.
HTX Helicopters' tour options vary by location and may include custom tours tailored to specific interests or occasions. For example, they may offer romantic sunset tours, thrill-seeker adventure tours, or aerial photography tours.
In addition to our helicopter services, we also offer a flight school where individuals can learn to fly and obtain their pilot's license. Meet our team
Commercial Pilot & CFI
Tyler Worden grew up in the small town of Colrain Massachusetts, serving as a firefighter EMT for that town while working on farms and doing construction. Tyler has had a passion for aviation since he was a kid and after doing a demo flight in 2017, decided to enroll in the Pro-Trac program with the dream of becoming a fire/EMS pilot. He is now working as a flight instructor here at HTX.
Commercial Pilot & CFI
Matthew is a 27-year-old pilot from Central Pennsylvania who loves the outdoors. He has been flying for over three years and enjoys exploring new destinations. He trained at North East Helicopters and hopes to become a utility pilot one day. When not flying, Matthew can be found hiking, camping, and fishing.
Commercial Pilot & CFI
Colin is from a small town in Central Massachusetts. Growing up he spent most of his time racing motocross in the summer, and skiing in the winter. Colin developed a passion for aviation at a young age, when a family friend took him for his first ride in an airplane. When he turned 18, he began a career in public safety as a Firefighter/Paramedic, with plans of ultimately becoming a professional helicopter pilot. After working in public safety for nearly a decade, he was able to start working towards his dream. In 2019 Colin completed his flight training at Northeast Helicopters, and now works as a flight instructor here at HTX Helicopters.
Maintenance Coordinator / A&P
Nicholas Nadolny served for 6 years in the Connecticut Army National Guard, working on Boeing and Sikorsky helicopters. Through his years of dedicated service he has gained insurmountable knowledge that he uses to this day. Now he maintains a fleet of Robinson aircraft operated by HTX Helicopters and HeliBlock. Nick is committed to bringing the highest safety standards and positive outlook to the HTX community.
Paulina was trained in aerospace engineering during her time with the polish air force. She moved to the United States to pursue her passion in the aviation industry. She joined the HTX Helicopters team where she maintains a dedicated role as lead administrator. She continues to train in rotorcraft and fixed wing during her time off.

Director of Operation
Originally from Connecticut, Matt spent a few years traveling which eventually lead him to flying. He decided to pursue his flying career and the sense of freedom it provided by attending flight school in Utah. After completing his flight training, he was employed as a professional pilot for several years. Since then, Matt has acquired thousands of hours of flight time. That experience, paired with an entrepreneurial spirit, drove him to establish his own helicopter company, HeliBlock.
As a lifelong resident of Block Island, Tristan has a wealth of knowledge about our island location. He is passionate about flying and enjoys sharing his flying experience with any passenger he brings along. Share your helicopter journey with him to get the perfect Block Island experience!
Principal Pilot & Check Airman
Originally from Massachusetts, Michael’s family moved to Las Vegas when he was just two years old. He was introduced to flying by his grandfather. After relocating to Maryland in 2005 and continuing his education, Michael decided to attend flight school and pursue a career in aviation. Once there, he found a true passion for flying helicopters. With multiple years of experience, Michael is now a certified flight instructor and part-time pilot for HeliBlock.
Lucas has always had a passion for aviation stemming from watching his father fly hang gliders at a young age. Before becoming a pilot, he was an avid skydiver, BASE Jumper, and aviation enthusiast. He worked as a master parachute rigger for the department of defense until he committed his life to rotorcraft. He now resides as the Operations Manager for HTX Helicopters where he can help others pursue their goals in aviation. When not at work he can be found skydiving, riding his motorcycle, adventuring outdoors, or hanging out with his wife and two dogs.
Tour Pilot CFI / CFII
Originally from North Carolina, Elijah’s lifelong love for flying steered him towards a career in aviation. He pursued this passion at Southern Utah University, where he earned an instructor’s license. Now, he enjoys sharing his passion by flying tours and helping others fulfill their dreams of being a rotorcraft pilot.
Joey loves exploring and hopes to become a heli-ski pilot one day. His knowledge of the helicopter industry and the ins and outs of our company make him an invaluable member of our team. Joey can assist with any task and answer any questions you may have. On his days off, Joe can be found snowboarding, rock climbing, studying and training for his future career as a rotorcraft pilot.
